Develop positive thinking patterns!!
The first step to develop more positive thinking patterns is to be aware of your negative ones. You then need to decide to change your thinking habits. Be aware of how you choose to think and speak at work and find a positive way to view everything and everyone.
Focus on your own happiness, wellbeing, and emotional intelligence. Because your attitude is a form of expression of yourself, you want to communicate the right messages.
If listening to the news every morning is giving you anxiety and leading you to feel down and depressed, you might want to change your daily routine. Listen to your favourite worship music or audiobook, & meditate in the morning on God’s promises over you life.
Remember that negative thoughts are coming from within. Stop trying to put the blame on others and take responsibilities for your thoughts and actions. Once you do so, you are ready to adapt your responses to different situations and take a problem solving approach.
DAY 7- I HAVE SOLUTIONS
Today we’re challenging the “problem-focused” mentality.
The problem-focused mentality just sees and reports the problem. There are enough critics and complainers in the world. The world needs solution-minded people, not just those who can report a problem.
WE ARE COMPENSATED IN LIFE FOR THE PROBLEMS WE SOLVE, NOT THE PROBLEMS WE MERELY RECOGNISE- In Genesis 41, Joseph not only recognised the famine coming, but he offered a solution for the famine. As a result, he became the most powerful man in the world. Even Pharaoh bowed his heart to Joseph and recognised his power
LOVE MATH! What do I mean? Mathematics is a great discipline because it proves there is a solution to every problem. Whether you liked math in school, we need to get this: there is a solution to everything. Look for it. When we recognise that Christ is the Master of every situation that comes into our lives, that He cares about us, and that He is always working for our eternal good, we can do nothing but praise Him. He is worthy of our praise! We are ready now to consider specific problems which are common to people, and which you may face.
Like Paul, share your good news with others! Paul wrote about the faithfulness of Christ when he penned the letter to his friends the Philippians Christians (Philippians 1:12). He didn’t want them to feel sorry for him! He said joyfully, “In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel” (Philippians 1:4-5).
STOP TALKING ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND START TALKING TO IT!! Jesus said, “If you shall say to this mountain, be removed and cast into the sea, and do not doubt… it shall obey you.” (Mark 11:23) Use your mouth to move the problem.
SAY IT OUT LOUD!! I believe that God will give me the interpretations to life’s problems and that He will bless me with wisdom and answers. I believe there is a solution to every problem because I have the mind of Christ. I welcome the Holy Spirit to pray through me and bring God’s will and solutions to my life and to the lives of those around me, in Jesus’ Name!
